Education News - Studying in the UK: Teenagers 'need vocational routes'

Tim Oates, director of research at Cambridge Assessment exam board is calling for more work related qualifications. Will this help boost the amount of school-leavers getting jobs, or will it put young people off University after the rise in tuition fees?


From the source: At least 40% of teenagers should be required to do apprenticeship-style qualifications that lead directly to a job at the age of 16, a leading education expert has said.
